Today, PT. Toyo Ink Indonesia’s product portfolio includes inks, coatings, adhesives, plastic masterbatches, and automotive door trim components produced in Indonesia as well as other advanced materials imported from our global network of Group companies. We partner closely with our customers to ensure our solutions meet their exacting needs and the highest standards for quality, performance and support.
Our History
Founded in 1994, PT. Toyo Ink Indonesia is a Japanese PMA (foreign owned) company of artience Co., Ltd., a multinational specialty chemicals manufacturer and the parent of the artience Group. PT. Toyo Ink was initially set up in the MM2100 Industrial Estate in Bekasi Regency, West Java as a gravure ink producer. We gradually expanded and diversified our manufacturing operations by adding offset products in 2003, can coatings in 2004 and plastic masterbatches in 2012.
By 2014, we outgrew our operations and decided to move to a new factory location in the GIIC Industrial Estate in Bekasi Regency, which is still home to our head office, production and warehousing operations. Today, PT. Toyo Ink is engaged in the manufacturing of packaging and commercial printing inks (gravure, offset, screen), can coatings and plastic masterbatches and in the converting of automotive door trim components. In 2016, it established PT. Toyo Ink Trading Indonesia (why? To supply specialty products to Indonesian industry).
For nearly 30 years, PT. Toyo Ink Indonesia has played an important role in the economic development of Indonesia and the prosperity of its people.
